We wanted to share this letter of gratitude to all of the generous donors, supporters and especially the amazing volunteers that made this evening so fun, special and profitable (Don!) for this young musicians future!<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

To the Jazz At The Lake Organization,
I just wanted to deeply thank you for the opportunity and help you have offered my family and I regarding my university education. Education is not cheap, and my choice to pursue music in my post-secondary studies is generally a bigger gamble than most other career paths. However, thanks to your generosity and support, the burden that my family and I will be undertaking is a little bit lighter.
To everyone I got to perform with, thank you so much for being so accommodating to me. I had been worrying for weeks that my performance would fall short of your extensive skill and capability. However, despite having far less experience than the rest of you, I felt incredibly welcomed and supported throughout my brief performance. Working with more experienced individuals is always inspiring to me, and I aspire to perform like you all did one day. I can genuinely say that performing \u201cThat\u2019s Life\u201d was some of the most fun I have had performing a jazz piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know if this message will ever reach the audience members, but I would also like to sincerely thank them for their support. Not only did they help ease some of the financial burden, but they also supported me during my performance by encouraging me throughout the night. In particular, the two individuals who got up to dance during my performance significantly lessened my anxiety. I love sharing my passion and love for music with audiences, and I am glad that they were so warm to me.
I will forever be grateful that you selected me to be the scholarship winner this year. Thank you so much for supporting young artists.
